UK rock legends Thunder have agreed a deal with GigRev.com to provide them with their own branded fan app.
Thunder singer Danny Bowes says:-
“We’ve always placed a high value on the relationship with our fans, and our app will help us to enhance that in all kinds of ways.
We’ve been looking for something like this for ages, and GigRev have been really helpful, so when our fans get their hands on it, we think they’ll love it”.
Solid Music Management (Thunder’s managers) have been advising GigRev throughout the development of the project.
GigRev CEO Kevin Brown says:- “Working with SMM & Thunder has really helped us understand what fans want from their artist. Using GigRev powered mobile and desktop apps it’s possible to broadcast live video, release exclusive music tracks, allow ticket purchases prior to official on-sale dates, and post to the artist-to-fan wall. It’s an invaluable “one stop” solution for fans, and it’s on their phone.”
The Thunder app will go live in the very near future. Stay tuned.
Thunder’s album ‘Rip It Up’ – released on 10 February 2017 through earMUSIC hit number 3 in the UK album charts, giving the band their highest chart placing in 22 years. The band’s previous album ‘Wonder Days’ entered the chart at No. 9 two years ago so ‘Rip It Up’ underlines the band’s continuing trajectory. The album came ahead of a largely sold out tour of UK and Eire.
